1. Who we are
Ainuze (“the service”) is operated by Interactive Enterprises Limited (“we”, “us”), company number 137228C, Isle of Man.

2. What we collect
- Account data - email, password hash, display name, admin flag, last login time.
- Preferences - selected sources, topics, retention settings, custom topic keywords.
- Technical data - IP address and user agent may be stored on stay-logged-in tokens for security.
- Usage on your device - session cookies, optional stay-logged-in cookie, and browser storage for feed UI preferences (see Cookie policy).
We do not sell your personal data. We do not run advertising networks on member feeds.
3. Why we use it
- Provide and secure your account and feed.
- Remember your sources, topics, and “stay logged in” choice.
- Operate scheduled RSS ingest and optional AI personalisation features you request.
- Prevent abuse and debug service issues.
4. Legal basis
Where Isle of Man / UK GDPR-style rules apply: contract (providing the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, service integrity), and consent where required for optional cookies/storage.
5. Third parties
- Hosting / infrastructure - servers and databases that process your account and feed data.
- AI provider (optional) - if you use Squeeze News or topic expand, relevant headlines/phrases are sent to our configured AI API to generate rankings or keywords. Do not put secrets in topic phrases.
- Push notifications (optional) - if you enable browser push, we store a push subscription endpoint for your device to deliver source-update or Squeeze alerts.
- Email digest (optional) - if enabled, we email a brief digest based on your saved Squeeze and feed settings.
- Bookmarks & read state - stories you mark or open in preview may be stored against your account for a better return visit.
- Publishers - RSS content is fetched from third-party feeds; opening a story is on the publisher’s site under their policies.
6. Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists. Feed articles follow retention settings and purge schedules. Stay-logged-in tokens expire (default 30 days) or are revoked on logout. You may request account deletion via support.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact support@ainuze.com.
8. Security
Passwords are hashed. Sessions and remember-me tokens use HttpOnly cookies. No method of transmission is 100% secure; use a strong unique password.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes may also be noted in-product.
